Navy College Program for Afloat College Education
A little water doesn't have to be an obstacle-don't put your education on hold. NCPACE allows deployed Sailors an opportunity to continue their college education while at sea. Dallas TeleCollege of the Dallas County Community Colleges continues to serve over 1,200 Sailors each year by delivering technology-based courses on submarines and surface ships worldwide.
Some of our course offerings include:
- ECON 2301 Macroeconomics
- ECON 2302 Microeconomics
- GOVT 2305: US Government I
- HIST 1301: American History I
- HIST 1302: American History II
- PHED 1304: Health For Today
- SOCI 1301: Introduction to Sociology
Beginning May 1, 2008, select commands will be eligible to participate in an iPod-based pilot under the NCPACE program. Courses offered in this pilot include:
- ENGL 1301: Composition I
- ENGL 1302: Composition II
- HIST 1301: US History to 1877
- HIST 1302: US History Since 1877
- SOCI 1301: Introduction to Sociology
