SOC Network-Approved Courses and Degrees for Sailors
The Navy College Program for Afloat College Education (NCPACE) gives Sailors the opportunity to begin or continue their college education while deployed at sea or based in remote locations. NCPACE courses are offered by colleges and universities accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Department of Education and are provided to Sailors tuition-free.
All undergraduate courses are from institutions with SOCNAV affiliation, ensuring Sailors the opportunity to transfer credits and complete degrees. You may get your NCPACE designation as early as basic training if you are going to be assigned active duty at sea.
Dallas TeleCollege Courses for NCPACE Students Dallas TeleCollege offers several courses which are SOCNAV-approved to NCPACE students, available to you on your ship, whether surface or submarine (where courses can be delivered in a variety of media rather than depending on the limited ability of Internet access).
Though Dallas TeleCollege does not offer its own full associate degree plan for NCPACE students, these courses are considered core requirements for many associate degrees from other institutions.
The following course numbers are Texas Common Course Numbers.
